Camp Ripley Sentinel Landscape

Camp Ripley serves as a training center for military and civilian agencies. Through the Army Compatible Use Buffer program and Sentinel Landscape Partnership, willing landowners, local organizations, and federal and state agencies are working together to permanently protect agricultural and habitat-based parcels across the landscape. This effort brings about local economic benefits, enhances the ability for Camp Ripley to continue training without encroachment on their facilities, while ensuring that farms stay farms and forests stay forests in the area for generations to come.
